Important Relationships Between Children and Their Caregivers That Enhance Listening and Language Growth

Finally a product designed with childcare providers in mind! Learn To Talk Around The Clock at Childcare provides a systematic way of involving childcare providers in the process of helping young children learn better language and listening skills while in their care. Through a self-evaluation of their own interactions with children, childcare providers quickly identify skills they need to practice. This self-evaluation is based on ten

interactive skill areas. Once the childcare provider determines his/her skill area for practice, there are easily implemented suggestions to practice for three different age levels of young children (infants through preschool).

Learn To Talk Around The Clock at Childcare Basic Kit

The Basic Kit comes in a plastic portfolio case and contains four thematic workbooks: Time to Eat,

Time to Diaper and Dress, Time to Play, and Time to Go Outdoors. A set of awareness bracelets is

embossed with the ten Practice Levels and is color-coordinated with the Practice Levels in the workbooks. It

also contains a poster depicting these same ten Practice Levels, both are used as reminders of the skills the

user has determined for practice. This Basic Kit is intended for one individual user, or to be shared by using

the supplemental materials listed below.

Supplemental Question Section Booklets (set of 4)

The self-study question section has been bound in separate booklets and is only available for purchase with at least one Learn To Talk Around The Clock at Childcare Basic Kit. Users must have easy access to the practice suggestions in the Basic Kit workbooks. Therefore, it is suggested that no more than ten childcare providers share the Basic Kit workbooks.

Supplemental Awareness Bracelets (set of 10)

Awareness Bracelets are embossed with each of the 10 Practice Levels. These were designed to remind Childcare Providers of the Practice Level they have chosen. One set of Awareness Bracelets is included with the Basic Kit. They are also available to purchase with each of the Supplemental Question Section Booklets. They are not available for purchase without the Supplemental Question Section Booklets.
